I highly recommend AZ Tactical! This was a birthday present for my 14 year old son. Our group consisted of our 11 year old daughter up to my 70 year old mother-in-law. Mike did an amazing job. He was able to teach us some basics of clearing a room of bad guys, while at the same time keeping it fun, exciting, and challenging.

Mike is super cool guy. Made sure we had a great time. Would highly recommend!

Order the testudo bogo, shipping was on time. Can’t give any reviews on the product and I don’t think i will ever get shot or shoot at my carrier to test it out but beside that, very happy Doing business with ar500armor, there was some missing items on the order. Didn’t take more than 1 email from me for Alyse to send me a tracking for those missing items. Superb customer service. Great products!

I've attended training with some of the biggest names in the firearms industry and they don't compare to the level of real world skills, informations and practical systems that you learn from Rob. Whether you're new to firearms or a seasoned shooter, Rob manages to tailor his training to work with you. Best of all, Rob makes training fun and engaging. I've attended over 10 training classes with Rob and plan to attend many more.

My wife and I came to the showroom to learn and buy chest rigs. Jessie and Desiree were a huge help and went above and beyond to find the perfect setup. We loved the showroom. Way better than even expected. Trainer was organized, professional, patient and helpful. It provided more than just entertainment. My brother and I left light years ahead of where we started in our understanding of how to engage in CQC situations.

Super informal, the people there were super nice. If I might add you get what you pay for quality product. REI didn’t have water resistant boots but 5-11 did! So if you’re looking for outdoor gear that’s durable and comfortable I recommend them

If you're looking for something truly unique to do in Phoenix, Arizona Tactical Adventures is where it's at! I had an incredible time and can't recommend this place highly enough. Wow, my family was blown away by the experience! We were not sure what to expect but have had some training in the past with both firearms and active shooter situations. Mike was our guide for our shoot house adventure and he is also the owner. His knowledge and expertise really shines as he allows you to learn at your pace while delivering his years of experience to you in a digestible manner so you do not feel overwhelmed. Not surprised to see all the Five Star ratings. After over 30 years in the military and college up to the Masters level I can say, with confidence, that Rob is probably the most knowledgeable and competent instructor I've encountered. That means he has mastered his subject and he communicates the facts to students better than most.
I am a Basic Sniper Course student and I will be enrolling in advanced training in the future.
ERT also offers tactical medicine training. As a practioner I'll be utilizing those con-ed classes also. Over-all superior instruction.

I took my first firearms training course at ERT many years ago and have taken many more since. The lead instructor (Rob) is very knowledgable and is able to provide the information in a format that is easy to understand, regardless of your experience level. You can be confident that you will be getting quality training in a comfortable, safety oriented environment.

Got an AR500 carrier and steel plates from them this week. Came in very quickly! (ordered it only a little over a week ago) Wore it for 4 hours and did not have any problems with shoulder or back fatigue. VERY COMFORTABLE!! Happy customer! Michael Moon (the ar500 representative I was talking to) was very helpful and responsive!

I did AZ Tactical Adventures for my birthday with a few friends and it was unreal. We spent four hours learning real commands, teamwork, and procedures used by professionals, all in a controlled, safe environment led by former Navy SEAL instructors.
The simulations get your heart racing and the instructors are clearly passionate about what they teach; not just tactics, but the mindset, discipline, and life lessons that carry far beyond the training room.
As a regular civilian, it gave me a huge respect for the real heroes who do this work for real. If you want something memorable, challenging, and way more meaningful than another steak dinner, this is it.

It was a pleasure training with Rob. My wife and I signed up for private pistol training and learned far more than we expected in our first session.

Rob has an impressive understanding of firearms and defensive shooting, and that became clear when we dug into the details on some of the things we discussed during our training. He also has a unique ability to meet you where you are and push you to the next level.

We're looking forward to another session soon.

What a day! Our lead instructor was Mike, and he was amazing. The course was organized, structured, and thorough. His information and instructions were clear and concise. For me, the most reassuring thing was the emphasis on safety. Mike and his team were very stern and direct with all safety protocols, which made me feel much better about having my son there learning with me. The time flew by, and by the time we left we felt confident in our ability to handle an AR-15. While the cost was a little more than some other places, but it was well worth it. If you're looking for a firearms course in the Phoenix area, this is the place you want to go to. Thank you Mike, Ben, and the rest of the team for your amazing work.

This was an incredible experience that was truly eye-opening and informational. Everything is well organized and the instructor, and owner Mike is superbly knowledgeable. I'm just a regular civilian and I walked away more confident and self-aware! I would highly recommend this experience to everyone and anyone that is looking to get a better perspective on tactical, home defense, and situational awareness. You will get all the tools you need and if you are law enforcement or involved in any military type of program, this will probably level you up even more! Came here during a bachelor party and booked the 4 hour navy seal adventure. When I tell you that this was well worth the time and money I can’t express how Professional Mike was and how he was able to teach so much so well and in a short amount of time. Number ONE priority of his is safety and not once during the adventure did we ever feel like something we were doing was going to end badly. It was an absolutely amazing time. If I ever come back to AZ I will be back to do another training adventure with them.

I walked into this unsure about whether or not I was ready for this purchase.

I've been back and forth.

After training with the lasers, I learned I was left eye dominant and it was seemingly difficult plus heavy to shoot.

It was extremely uncomfortable.

Ironically, the loaded weapon was far more comfortable and simpler to use.

The owners were patient, informational, intentionally amazing hosts and this is a must have educational experience.

Really great experience at AR500, I ordered the veritas package, looks amazing can’t wait to run a few drills. Had a hiccup during shipping but Michael M. Was quick to resolve it, really great and responsive customer service. Thank you AR500 Armor!

Dagmarie was awesome. She was such a passionate instructor who taught with patience and understanding. She consistently asked questions for engagement and to ensure we were all clear on what we were learning. In the beginning, she stressed that she wanted the class to be a safe space to learn and she created that environment.

Mike and Michael were both super informative, and friendly. They know exactly what they are doing and I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. No matter the skill level.

The instructor (Jamie Philips) did an excellent job teaching us these life saving skills. I would recommend her a million times over! She was fun and made the learning fun! It was an awesome class!

Ordered two carriers. One I want to swap colors on due to a mistake I made in the order (wanted black mulicam but ordered multicam) and one I want to return because it doesn’t fit the 10x8 plates as advertised.

This is the email response (screenshot below). Claim they never advertised the 10x8 would fit one carriers, it only fits ‘their 10x8, when it says it right in the website description (photo below) it is ‘designed for 10x8’.

While the initial response from customer service wasn’t helpful, Carson Barney responded to my email and issued a refund for the item that didn’t fit the plate and sent me a second carrier in the color I wanted. Over and above what I was asking for.

Can’t always expect things to be right on the first shot, but much respect for vendors who own a mistake and go over and above to fix it.

By far large one of the greatest and most informative experience I've had when it comes to tactical training.
I have trained with elite companies all across the country and This company and Rob blows them away.
While the instructor pushed me to my limit I felt completely safe and walked away with a great understanding.
I highly recommend any of the courses and I look forward to taking additional tactical training in the future

Rob, the founder and lead trainer of ERT is probably the most knowledgeable and professional trainer I have ever met or worked with. This man really wants you to have all the knowledge and tools to protect yourself and the ones you love. He not only opens the floor to discussion on every topic he teaches but he will demonstrate and explain why the techniques he teaches work well and why he prefers them over other styles and techniques.
I left the Pistol 1&2 course I took with him feeling confident in my own skills but hungry to learn more. If I could give more stars, I would!

My brother and I had the best time at Arizona Tactical Adventures! Even the talk that is given to everyone was given with enthusiasm and humor. They really accomplish their mission very well. We learned stuff from trained professionals while having a great time and knowing our safety was taken very seriously. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back for more even it if was over an hour away and we had limited time. I highly recommend, they'll make it worth your visit plus you'll have great pictures. One of a kind experience.

I contacted Rob to get some instruction on how to handle a pump gun and Rob delivered. We had a 1:1 session and he taught me everything I needed to know.

We even discussed home defense etc. Very good teacher. He knows how to transfer Knowles to his students.

I live locally and have taken several dozen courses with owner/head instructor/Air Force veteran Mike Simpson over the last two years. It becomes obvious very shortly after meeting him that he is a master (and also a never-ending student) of his arts: tactics, leadership, and business among many others. Perhaps more importantly, he possess the ability to teach the skills he has developed in both the military and civilian worlds to others in a way they can understand. He will encourage you when you need it, and push you when you need that instead. All while still enjoying yourself! His scenario-based courses are an excellent combination of fun, adrenaline rushes, physical fitness, mental discipline, and problem solving. Mike is a professional in the truest sense of the word, and in many ways has become a personal mentor. I have no hesitations about recommending his training and adventures to you. I make the same recommendation to those I know in my personal life and have brought family from out of town, personal friends, co-workers, and neighbors along with me to classes. They have all enjoyed themselves thoroughly, despite vast differences in experience, age, fitness, and interests. If you take one of his adventures there is a high probability you will be left wanting more afterwards.

Rob is pure class. I have trained with a few other instructors, but when I took my first class 6 years ago I knew I had made a great decision. All aspects of the weapon systems were covered, and an intimate knowledge of everything we touched was available via Rob. I have taken dozens of classes, and will continue to support this veteran owned and operated business! Thank you Rob!
