My wife and I were looking for something thrilling and unique to add to our excursions while in Phoenix celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary. Mike and his team at ATA left absolutely nothing to be desired. Of all the things we got into while on our trip, our time with Mike will be what we're still talking about when our 50th rolls around. Mike's professionalism, expertise, guidance and (most importantly) patience with us demonstrates his passion for creating an exciting, memorable and one-of-a-kind experience that's going to be tough to top.

Great experience with AR500! The customer service was great! I ordered several items, and one was taking longer than usual to update. Kevin got back to me right away and was professional and extremely patient with me changing my mind about the color of one of the items. I literally sent 3 emails within 5 minutes going back and forth. Once I finally decided, Kevin easily changed my order and pushed it through.
The build quality of the gear is great and looks really good (very important)! I’ve run several carrier designs, and the Testudo 2 is very comfortable in comparison to the others. 10/10 recommend

I contacted Rob to get some instruction on how to handle a pump gun and Rob delivered. We had a 1:1 session and he taught me everything I needed to know.

We even discussed home defense etc. Very good teacher. He knows how to transfer Knowles to his students.

Quite Possibly the Best Firearms Instructor on The West Coast. His methods and curriculum are very well thought out. He’s not concerned with this trend or that….his main concern is economy of motion. Not just pistol or carbine, or shotgun, he teaches all mediums. Good instruction is worth every Penny. Would recommend him for you child and your grandmother!

By far large one of the greatest and most informative experience I've had when it comes to tactical training.
I have trained with elite companies all across the country and This company and Rob blows them away.
While the instructor pushed me to my limit I felt completely safe and walked away with a great understanding.
I highly recommend any of the courses and I look forward to taking additional tactical training in the future

Ive had an AR plate carrier since the early 2010s. Didnt know much about it other than it was AR500. I recently met a young man, Carson, who works for the company that spent his evening looking through every product Armored Republic has ever sold until he found mine. He then talked to me about the newer models, and what would the most comparable upgrade to my tried and true current carrier. fantastic customer service

I underestimated how well it was going to go, but this is an experience like no other.

The tactics that were taught were beginner friendly and Mike Simpson did an amazing job teaching everything needed to conduct CQB, everything was evenly paced and methodically done, even when you mess up, he knows how to get you back on track and learn from those mistakes.

Overall I would love to go back and enjoy the other experiences available!!

Incredible experience with Mike at Arizona Tactical. Not only a true professional, but one that has the living experience of covert operations and exceptional training programs as the instructor for some of our most elite forces here in the US. On top of that, Mike was a great instructor and didn't miss a beat. Correcting where necessary and cool on top of it all. Loved every second and took away what I would call a priceless education and one we all should have. My brother and I did this together and have already planned to return for the next go. We will be leveling up on the next run. If you've ever been curious about tactics and how to not only properly handle a weapon, but how to clear a room and communicate with your team member (if not solo) then this is the spot and this is the team to do it with. Me and my dad booked the shoot house and it was a blast! Felt like we were real navy seals for 2 hours. Would be very fun for the whole family to do it but needless to say it was an awesome experience

My 15 year old daughter and I did the night vision room clearing exercises for my birthday. Coolest thing I’ve done in a long time and she and I turned out to be a great team. I’m excited to go back to try all the different adventures they offer.

Rob is a great instructor and has taught several private classes for my family and me. He is extremely safety conscience while making the the learning environment enjoyable. And, above that, he has walked the walk overseas and is the real deal. As someone who has attended training with many different instructors, I have never seen someone handle firearms with the precision Rob possesses. He is a complete professional but also handles himself with humor which makes for an memorable learning experience.

If you're looking for something truly unique to do in Phoenix, Arizona Tactical Adventures is where it's at! I had an incredible time and can't recommend this place highly enough. Hands down the best training I've ever received. I've attended classes with other well known instructors which I thought were good (at first). However, Rob's classes are next level. I've taken multiple ER Tactical classes and look forward to taking many more. Rob also has an impressive beard.

Trained long range rifles with rob and ER tactical and learned so much in a short time. I now have a full knowledge of my firearm and scope. I’m safer, more accurate and confident with a healthy respect for firearms than I’ve ever been before. Definitely worth the time and money.

Here in Phoenix from out of state with the family so my son can attend a basketball camp. Looking for something interesting to do, I thought I would try Tactical Adventures. I go to the website and see the hours conflict with my son's camp. I decide to call just to see if it was possible to make arrangements for a later tour. I spoke to the owner Mike who was more than accommodating and we scheduled a time that allowed us to experience this once in a lifetime adventure. My wife, teenage son and I had an absolute blast! Mike ensures safety and fun and was very patient in his explanation of the process. I HIGHLY recommend this experience. My wife was even asking if we can go again before we return to Kauai.

AZ Tactical Adventures was great experience. The level of detail and realism the instructors invested in each operation was evident. We learned so many tactics and communication skills in high adrenaline situations and had fun. We did this as the capstone to a bachelor party weekend and couldn't stop talking about how great of experience Mike S provided us. Highly recommend to anyone remotely interested in tactics or trying something new. We all want to try the harder level objectives now.

By far the best firearms course I attended so far. Rob Orgel has the right experience and mindset to create a unique, superior firearms course. Rob focuses on the most important aspects of using a handgun. Rob is a true master of his craft.

I took the women's class last weekend and it was so much more than I expected. Rob took the time to go over scenarios and advise how to handle each different situation. I am signing up for one on one training with Rob so that I can feel confident in carrying my weapon. I would give 10 stars if possible!

We had an amazing time with Mike! We were doing some team building for our company, and it was amazing to see the parallels for real life and business relating to a simulated combat situation. Mike is a wonderful teacher and was very patient with the process of the different levels of experience with our team. Once again, it was a pleasure to go through the training, and we will be doing it again! If you haven't done it, you're missing out!

My fiancée refuses to train with anyone else in the industry. Rob's resume speaks for itself-but on top of that, the classes are affordable and the emphasis on safety and protection is key. You will also never meet a person who knows more about weapons and using them. His classes cover anyone from beginners to pros. He offers some classes that are specific to women, but also will let a woman jump in any of the normal classes as well. He truly treats his clients like family, and everyone has fun along the way. Our family will always recommend ERT!

Rob is probably the best instructor I've ever encountered. He has mastered his subject and he has a knack for breaking down a block of instruction into easily understandstandable sections. I took his basic precision rifle course and will also be enrolling in advanced courses to enhance my skills. Strong recommend.

This company is the absolute best company to work with! I have been arranging classes for 10 years and I am so grateful that I found and switched to them!!! Our instructor was Mr. Wes Foster and he did a spectacular job!

Wow! I was fairly apprehensive when my 13 year-old expressed an interest in learning to handle a real weapon as opposed to a video game. In my effort to find a good introduction, the excellent reviews led me here and they couldn't have been more correct. Mike and his team are incredibly organized, positive, methodical, and encouraging while maintaining a safe environment and being completely down to earth.

We learned to clear a room in the Shoothouse - and while the 13 and 16 year-old were faster (and scored better) - my spouse and I didn't do half bad! The whole experience was both accessible and fascinating - so much so that we may choose Phoenix as a vacation destination again so that we can come back and learn more.

Recently ordered battle belt bundle and noticed restraining strap had snapped. Contact their customer service; Alyse Galor responded swiftly and made sure the replacement part was shipped immediately. Happy customer and will continue to order from AR500.

I ordered my Veritas plate carrier during the lockdowns in 2020 when the getting was good. Just ordered my mag pouches and the configuration fit just the way I hoped. I took a chance with this company and I've had the privilege of communicating with their staff a couple times. Very high quality product, comfortable, plates are upgraded from what I used in the service, and their customer service is phenomenal. We did the Shoot House for my son’s 30th birthday. We had a great time. It didn’t matter that we had little to no experience in the past with guns. It was a really fun and educational experience. Mike is a fantastic instructor and you get a sense of what is involved in approaching a house of combatants. Despite the fact that I was pretty terrible at this, I really enjoyed it and wished it was longer so that I could have improved some!! Thank you Mike!

As someone who has never shot a gun before, this experience was broken down into very understandable and simple steps that had me and my friends having a blast clearing rooms during just our two hour experience. The top gun run at the end seemed daunting when first handed the rifle at the beginning of the course, but at the end we felt more than prepared to take on the challenge. If I lived closer I’d be coming back often to bring all my friends and family to join the fun!

Ordered a complete setup from AR500 Valkyrie Berry Compliant Carrier with lightweight plates, tear away IFAK, TQ pouch and a Kangaroo Magazine pouch. Love the quality of all of it. It did take every bit of their lead time estimate plus a couple of weeks, but right now I'm not sure anything isn't backordered on materials. Communicated with their CS several times, Alyse Galor would respond to me rapidly and professionally can't ask more than that. The industry could use more people like this.
Bottom line, great company and people, great gear that's worth the wait.

My wife and I just had an amazing time visiting Mike at AZ Tactical Adventures! Their training program was incredibly comprehensive and thrilling. It was one of the best experiences we've had, and we're definitely planning to return! Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch tactical training! Doesn’t matter if you’re new, inexperienced, or a seasoned veteran, they have something for everyone.

Bob was informed and hilarious. He definitely needs to branch out and teach way more things. There could be some signs to in the hallways to show where the classroom is though.
